Welcome to Galloway Cricket Club

“We aim to promote the game of cricket in our community and do all we can to encourage people of all ages to participate in the wonderful game of cricket.”

Galloway Cricket club is based in Gatehouse of Fleet, a beautiful part of the world in South West Scotland.

The club prides itself on being an exceptionally friendly and welcoming community and has members ranging from pre-school to 70+, all with various different cricketing backgrounds and a range of abilities. Complete beginners are especially encouraged to join this thriving club as one of our main aims is to promote the many benefits that cricket has to offer. 


Sessions may be pre-booked and will take place subject to sufficient numbers and suitable weather.

Restricted to club members who have paid their 2021 Membership fee and relevant Training Fee *

Outdoor training at the ground is scheduled from May until the end of September, weather permitting:

Adults training every Monday (from 5.30pm) and Friday (from 6.30pm)

Ladies training every Tuesday evening (5.45pm-7.45pm)

Juniors training every Sunday (from 10am) and Friday (from 5pm) 

Small Stars (under 8) sessions every Sunday (from 12 noon) and Thursday (from 4pm)

* Adults training - £25 package for the season, or £5 per session

* Juniors / Small Stars - £10 per month , or £2.50 per session

The Holywood Trust generously donated to the club the sum of £27,750 on 31st January 2020.  The Chair, Louise Cumbley, and Development Officer, Howie Bradley, are among those pictured below gratefully accepting the cheque.


Galloway Cricket Club are looking to recruit new members for the coming season. Any men, women or juniors interested in joining should contact the club for further information.

The club welcomes players of all abilities - from complete beginners to experienced league players.
